The British automaker’s Motorsport division has has recently release Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept that is an evolution of the Evora GT4 Endurance. Created as a base point from which the GT2/GTE homologated cars for FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) and ACO (l’Automobile Club de l’Ouest) endurance racing will be built.
The Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept is powered by a mid-mounted 4-litre DOCH V6 VVT-i engine, naturally aspirated and tuned by Cosworth delivers 440bhp at 7,000RPM and 460Nm (340 lb.ft.) of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a sequential 6-speed transmission
Other sports car specific components fitted on the Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept include a twin plate sinted clutch, a competition thermally coated exhaust manifold and a performance air filter. The chassis of Lotus Evora Enduro GT is made from aluminium, while its suspension is a double wishbone with Ohlins dampers, coaxial coil springs and a uni ball wishbone joint.
Lotus Evora Enduro GT comes with 18 inch forged alloys wrapped in 24/64-18 – 27/65-18 tires front and rear, a performance brake system with 22 mm race pads, two piece aluminium belled discs and 6 piston callipers at the front and 4-piston calliper at the rear. For Interior, Lotus Evora Enduro GT features Cosworth Omega dash, gear indicator, fire extinguisher and electrical cut out. PI D3 Dash with dynamic sensor kit, FIA approved competition seat on fixed mounting frame (optional Non FIA slider), a FIA approved 6 point competition harness, and electrically adjustable door mirrors.
