Toyota GRMN Sports FR Concept
Toyota has released details and new images of Toyota GRMN Sports FR Concept that will participate at the famous Goodwood hillclimb. The race concept was built by Toyota’s motorsports partner Gazoo Racing. The Toyota GRMN Sports FR Concept is powered by 2.0-liter flat-four boxer with the addition of supercharger and turbocharger to make 200hp to 315hp (320PS) and peak torque from 205Nm (151 lb-ft) to 421Nm (310.5 lb-ft). The modified engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Toyota GRMN Sports FR Concept includes new set of 18-inch alloy wheels shod in 245/40 tires up front and 265/35 at the rear and features GRMN suspension tuning. Other modifications includes upgrade brake calipers and brake rotors for GRMN, widebody kit with redesigned front and rear fascias, side skirts and fenders, roll cage, stripped interior with racing bucket seats and 4-point harnesses, large rear spoiler and GRMN dual exhaust system.
Inside, Toyota includes a new racing steering wheel without an airbag, the replacement of the audio system with new gauges, a four-point seat belt, a roll cage, a water temperature gauge and an oil temperature gauge. Toyota will also showed several racing and production models such as , the WRC Corolla, a rare TE27 Corolla Levin from the 1970s, TS030 HYBRID sports car, the classic 2000GT, 2012-specification Dynojet Racing Toyota Avensis touring car and the Celica ST185 and ST 205 GT-Four.
