2013 McLaren MP4-12C

British luxury automaker McLaren has officially announced details of 2013 MP4-12C supercar, which come with a price hike to $241,800 in the U.S., including a $2,400 destination charge. The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C is powered by twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops 625 PS at 7500 rpm and 600 Nm of torque between 3000 and 7000 rpm.

The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C gets some upgrades includes Revised calibration for 7-Speed SSG transmission for increased responsiveness, Programmable Intake Sound Generator, Headlights linked to rain sensor when in automatic mode, Easy-Exit electric seat function incorporating Seat Return (if specified) and New Meridian audio equaliser settings (if specified). The 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will be available in Volcano Yellow paint finish and also equipped with new 5-spoke lightweight-forged wheels available in multiple finishes and a special interior trim package.

For interior, The luxury car maker McLaren includes higher quality textured leather, One Touch Seat Return, Vehicle Lift – front and rear by 40mm and 25mm, redesigned ‘Speed Marque’ McLaren badge and offers three new levels of interior trim: Full Semi-Aniline Leather, Semi-Aniline Leather with Color Perforated Inserts and Full Semi-Aniline Leather.
