The Korean automaker SsangYong has announced upgrade new 2012 SsangYong Korando, which has been unveiled today at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The the 2012 SsangYong Korando crossover come with new powertrains that adding an entry-level diesel engine and a new petrol options and also includes some minor styling tweaks. The Korean automaker describes that new SsangYong Korando models will be featured a chrome-coated mesh radiator grille, newly styled wiper blades and interior will be equipped with an improved LED illuminated instrument cluster, new carbon grain pattern trim and high gloss finish for the switchgear.
For diesel engine, 2012 SsangYong Korando is powered by new 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that develops 149PS (147bhp) and gets CO2 emissions at 147g/km for the 2WD manual variant and 157g/km for the AWD manual. While For petrol engine line-up, The new SsangYong Korando is powered by a revised 2.0-liter petrol engine that produces CO2 emissions of 175g/km (2WD, manual) and 192g/km (AWD, manual). The updated of both diesel engine version includes revised gearing and an updated transmission control system, which will be offered in Europe this summer.
