2012 Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept
The Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept is powered by a 1.4-liter Ecotec turbocharged engine that 150 hp and 148 lb/ft of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission 150 hp and equipped with direct injection and a starter-based stop-start technology, balancing internal combustion and electrification to deliver high value and improved fuel economy. The 1.4L Turbo Ecotec engine found in these concepts can return 40 MPG.
The Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept features a sharp front profile with an interesting headlight configuration, and a new set of 21″ Chevrolet Performance chrome wheels. Inside, the car features WiFi, smart phone integration with Chevrolet MyLink and a heads-up display. Frank Saucedo, director of the GM North America Advanced Design studio in Los Angeles said that “Young customers tell us they want functionality with coupe-like aesthetics. Both the Code and Tru body styles resonated with this audience”. If produced, Chevrolet says the Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept is affordably priced some around $20,000.
